Sea Sisters Inc., a non-profit organization was started by a Navy mom for other Navy moms. This organization was developed to assist parents who would not be able to see their Sailors graduate due to financial struggles. Naval Station Great Lakes is the largest military installation in Illinois and the largest training center in the Navy. This Naval Station hosts the Navy's only Recruit Training Command. Each year approximately 40,000 men and women complete the requirements to become enlisted Navy Sailors at the Navy's only boot camp. What an incredible day this is for a Navy Sailor. No Sailor graduating boot camp should be alone on this special day, yet many are due to the high cost of travel and lodging. Please help in bringing mothers to their Sailors on the most important day of a Sailor's life.
